Born from the
Darkest Part of the
Forest Floor
Wild oud — true agarwood — only forms when an Aquilaria tree is infected by a specific mould. The tree responds by producing a dark, resinous heartwood over decades. That resin, when extracted, becomes one of the most complex aromatic substances on earth.
Noir V was built around one specific batch of wild Laotian oud, sourced from a single forest in Oudomxay province. That batch tested at 94.7% purity. We bought all of it. Every bottle of Noir V uses that exact oil.
The patchouli comes from India's Meghalaya — a steam-distilled absolute, not the usual hexane extract. The black pepper is from Kandy, Sri Lanka, hand-crushed and CO₂-extracted to preserve the full aromatic complexity.
"Noir V is not a fragrance for being liked. It is a fragrance for being remembered."
