The Most Complex
Fragrance We Have
Ever Made
Eclipse began as an accident. During Atelier One development, Jagat tested Kashmiri cardamom absolutes alongside wild Laotian oud. The two materials were never supposed to meet. He combined them anyway. The result stopped the room.
Labdanum from Morocco — scraped from rock rose stems using leather straps, the same method used for 3,000 years — was added in the third week of development. Then dark rose. Then benzoin resin from Thailand. Fourteen months later, Eclipse was finished.
We produce 100 bottles per batch. One specific batch of oud per batch of Eclipse. When the oud is gone, Eclipse is retired until we find another batch of sufficient quality. Batch #7 is currently available. 23 bottles remain.
"Eclipse doesn't smell like a perfume. It smells like something that happened."
